Elder Field Has Got Quite A Week Ahead Of Him!

TRANSFERS!!!! That's right folks it's that time again. And the results are in! Elder Field will be.........

*cough*

*clears throat*

Transferred to Santa Rosa! And I'm leaving tomorrow  Haha that right I'm being transferred just a little bit north into the Rincon valley ward. But here is the scary part. I'm still district leader. We'll, actually I'm co-district leader. Not sure how that will work out but we will see hahaha I'm kind of nervous. And! I will be whitewashing. For those who don't know what that means, this means that me and my companion are both new to the area. Both of the previous missionaries that were in the area are being transferred out, and we are being out in. I'm slightly terrified. This also means that these are my final moments with elder Siebach and I am freaking sad about that :( I love Elder Siebach..... But I know it's for the best and he will do great in the mission field haha hopefully I trained him well haha :/ ;)  my new companion is named elder Ricks. I have no clue who he is and no one that I'm currently serving around knows him either haha so I'm nervous about that. Hopefully he likes to work hard and have fun hahaha ;)  if not he is going to hate me ;)

This also means I'm leaving my beloved district. Never have I grown so close to a group of people in my life. I freaking love them all so much. It's quite strange to think that I have only known these people for 6-12 weeks. I feel like I have known them for a life time. And if course as we all know I have known them for a lifetime. The pre-existence is an awesome thing! And I know I will know these people for another lifetime. Or at least they promise me they won't forget me haha. Hopefully they remain true to that promise ;) so yeah I'm going into a new area knowing none of the missionaries or any of the investigators or members.....  Yikes....  Hahaha hopefully all goes well! Wish me luck haha

Anyway I guess I will hop into the nitty-gritty of the week!  :)

So other than just stressing all week about transfers haha we actually got a lot of work done. We had our last 2 lessons with little Liam this week :) we taught him all the commandments and all of the laws and ordinances. Or course in really simple terms and what not haha. It was nice to teach them that simply because now I know how to and now I have OFFICIALLY TAUGHT EVERY MISSIONARY LESSON! Hahaha sad I know right we don't get to teach the last 3 lessons very much haha I'm glad we got some good practice.

We had our last district meeting. And it was probably the coolest/greatest district meeting I have ever been in attendance of. The thing I was supposed to teach was the concept of high expectations and high love. Now this has been drilled into all of us how President had high love and high expectations for us. So I wanted to take it a different way. I wanted to teach how we can have HL&HE (I am tired of typing it all the way out) for our investigators but also our self. So sister Jeffery was going to teach how we can have it for ourselves while I was going to teach how we can have it for our investigators. I started off by reading something prescient wanted us to read. And man did the spirit take over. I was stressing so hard about this meeting because I didn't feel prepared, but boy the spirit just ran that meeting. While we talked and discussed about just missionary work we watched a video I shared recently on Facebook about the missionaries who were asked questions but they weren’t able to speak their answer they were just supposed to stay silent. If you haven't seen it, go to my Facebook and watch it ASAP haha it's so good. After my section was over and I was in tears sister Jeffery took over and knocked it out of the park. So good.  It gave me such the motivation just to work as hard as I can so I don't regret anything about my mission.  Gahhh so good haha!

Other than the bomb district meeting we took the ward list I have been talking about and put all the notes made on it, into our area books. So that future missionaries don't even have to have the list to see the notes. See how nice we are haha :)  we also presented the list to the ward and we have been working on sorting out the names of the less active members who have moved away. In return they actually gave us 15 names that we asked for at the start of the transfer......  Why it took us proving to them that we aren't scrubs to get those names idk. But now the sisters and elder Siebach have people to go see! Which is awesome!

Other than that, it was a pretty normal week! We did do some service at Muir woods! Which was way fun I will shoot some photos your way 😊

That's pretty much it! I know shorter email this week which is cool haha but yeah so I'm off to go pack and just say goodbye to people! Love you guys! Hope all of your week's were awesome!

Oh if you all get the chance, go read the talk the "blessings of worship"  from this last general conference! It's so good!!! Love you all!
