Blessings, Investigators, and Taco Bell

Interesting tag line right? To sum it up really quick before I go into detail about it, I gave my first blessing yesterday, me and Elder Knowlton have picked up our first investigator, and they cafeteria served Taco Bell...... dark day at the MTC 😂😂😂

My companions name is Elder Knowlton he is from new Hampshire. He comes from a small town. His graduating  class was 79 seniors. He about pooped him self when I told him how large mine was haha 😁 we get a long really well. All of the elders in my district do. And I couldn't be more thankful

All the sisters in the district are amazing. They are my rock.. the second day was super rough. I was sitting at lunch and I started to realize how long two years is. I'm not going to see any of you for two whole years. I then started to bawl right there at the table. The sisters saw it and sat next to me and just started joking with me. It helped a lot. I hope the know how much I love them.  I love the elders but I have problems with a few of them. Mainly Elder Connelly. I know I'm not  a mature but it gets a little ridiculous sometimes. But I love him non the less. The sisters how ever are just fabulous. I was lucky enough to have sister foster ask me for a blessing yesterday. It was so humbling and such an amazing spiritual experience. The priesthood is real. I know it. And it's amazing that I'm worthy enough to hold it. Man, it's so cool 😊😊😊

Do just to explain how things work at the MTC. We have a full 16 hour day everyday...... no free time haha it's either classes, personal and comp study or teaching experiences with people who pretend to be investigators or Role plays if you will. It's a lot of hard work but I'm up for it. That doesn't mean there aren't going to be bad days but I will just have to push through them 😊😊

I finally decided my favorite scripture a couple of days ago. I don't know if you can love a whole chapter in the BoM but I do. it's Alma 26 mainly verses 11-12 go read them. I think you will know why I love them so much.

We were able to go to the referral center(place where people can chat to missionaries, and we found an investigator, she goes by the user name of Tiara, she has expressed interest in the church, and we are going to talk to her on Thursday. I'm so pumped!!!

So time to finish this up with one of the many funny stories that have happened. They served Taco Bell, it...... was......bad....... my stomach hurt so bad. My entire distrct felt awful as well. My room smelled like a dump truck had a baby with a sewer system that night.......... it was so bad!!! We laughed it off of course but I was not feeling good the entire next day.

All of you would be so proud of me!! For anyone who doesnt know i hate veggies..... always have. I tend to be a picky eater. So Me and my companion have made a vow that was ever comes with the meals we eat it. (Except got the frozen veggies that were boiled, they are awful) I have eaten so many new things. Turns out I love peas 😊 who knew!!

To finish up I want to bear my testimony that i know God is real. I couldn't do this with out him. He has helped me though my darkest places. The least I could do is serve him for 2 years. I know christ is my savior. I know he died for my sins. And I know that we can return to heavenly Father. I know he wants us to succeed. But we have to trust in him that things with happen, in his time, not ours. To quote my father quoting someone else most likely, God doesn't care where you have been, he cares where you are going, I love you all so much.  Keep emailing me!! I love the emails and I promise I will try to respond to all of them.
